Our service offering

Strategic and organisational consulting, facilitation, and mediation services

Services

We provide a comprehensive suite of consulting services to help our clients achieve their goals. Our services are interconnected, blending deep reflection on evidence, a readiness to evolve practices, and the ability to engage in necessary conversations.

Strategy, Policy, Planning and Evaluations

Our team of experienced consultants specialises in developing clear and effective strategic plans. We translate research and evidence into actionable policies, strategies, and program development, ensuring your organisation's objectives are met with maximum impact. This includes high-quality evaluations, reviews, and the creation of implementation plans that bridge the gap between strategy and practice. We also design and manage research and engagement projects.

Organisational Development

We work with our clients to develop their organisational capacity, building effective governance structures, business processes and workplace culture to support their mission and goals. Our nuanced approach to organisational and governance development is engaging and inclusive, ensuring all voices are heard. This includes mentoring leaders and supporting the boards of community sector organisations.

Facilitation and Mediation

Our skilled facilitators and NMAS-accredited mediators excel in managing complex relationships and negotiations. We specialise in bringing together diverse viewpoints to foster productive discussions, whether it’s strategising the best plan or navigating challenging conversations.

Training and Development

We provide tailored training and support the development of the skills and knowledge of your team, enabling them to achieve their full potential and contribute to your organisation's success. We also offer training in effective meetings and change-making.

Sectors

We serve a diverse clientele across education, health, human and social services, and social aspects of climate change.

We work closely with our clients, whether they are public, private, not-for-profit, and/or community-controlled organisations, offering tailored solutions to the unique dynamics of each sector.

Our experience includes but is not limited to:

Education

We envision a dynamic and responsive higher education sector that fosters innovation and meets both industry and community needs. Our strategic consultancy in this domain encompasses working closely with government on higher education policy, supporting peak bodies in workforce development, aiding universities in developing comprehensive strategies, and facilitating strategic partnerships between universities and VET/TAFE providers.

Health

Our extensive experience in the health sector enables us to support clients to address complex challenges and improve approaches to delivery of care. We support a range of organisations in the areas of primary health delivery, policy, planning, regulation, and health promotion and advocacy. This includes working with Aboriginal community-controlled health services to improve their clinical efficiency and model of care, to working with peak organisations and research partnerships to develop sector-wide workforce strategies.

Human and social services

We work to support organisations in areas such as disability, aged care, child protection, and alcohol and other drugs. Through our work we emphasise hearing directly from communities to make sure their needs are represented, so that organisations can deliver better outcomes to the populations they serve. Examples in this area include a review of training programs for a state-based alcohol and other drug peak body, and development of an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander child and family workforce strategy for a peak organisation.

Social aspects of climate change

Addressing sustainability requires a nuanced understanding of social psychology and the factors that could enable social and political change needed to tackle the climate crisis. At TCR, we aim to facilitate meaningful action through stakeholder engagement, research, and policy development that respects the limitations of both people and the planet. We are particularly interested in collaboration with vulnerable communities, ensuring that sustainability efforts are inclusive and equitable.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which TCR is located. Our business has been built on the unceded lands of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation and we recognise their continuing connection to the land, waters and culture.
